So, Contracts 15:31 - Apr 4 with 5463 viewsCheltenham_Blue

In my opinion.

Aluko - 1 year extension
Norwood - 1 year extension
Carroll - No.
Jackson - 2 year with option
Kenlock - No
Clements - Trigger 1 year extension
Donacien - 2 year with Option
Simpson - Trigger 1 year extension

Have I missed anyone?

Is it the way we play or is it that the strikers aren't good enough. I suspect the latter. Although every club from top Premier to bottom of League two are looking for that elusive striker, the twenty to twenty five goal a season man. I do believe we need an experienced former Premier League or Championship guy alongside an up and coming fella. I don't see Bonne, Norwood and possibly even Pigott being at the club next season. Can't really see many of the loan players being around either, with the exception of Celina.

Aluko - 1 year extension.
Norwood - get rid.
Carroll - get rid.
Jackson - get rid.
Kenlock - get rid.
Clements - get rid.
Simpson - Trigger 1 year extension

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

Bakinson is nailed on, I'd say.

Can't see Bailey Clements getting extended realistically. At 21 you can't really afford an indifferent L2 loan spell.

What is it that he is meant to offer? Seems to lack anything special from what I’ve seen.

In his first team appearances there were moments where he looked a good passer of the ball. He's played centre back for the U23s, so presumably Dyer and Cook rated him as someone who had good attributes as a defender, but I thought he looked well out of his depth in our first team (and got a lot of cover from Edmundson).

Out of all those barring Aluko and jackson the rest have either offered little or we can do better than this is not a MEs regime where we sign contracts cause we need numbers we need as KMac has said quality not quantity and out of the list there is little quality i would be looking at getting rid or dobra piggott even if needs be elmiz if he doesnt suit the team cut the wages bill for 5 or 6 quality players and opening up the path as we call for for youth.

He just doesn’t strike me as someone McKenna will want to hang onto. Just an average Joe. Not the dynamic, athletic type of player that has been mentioned he wants us to start producing.

Daryl Murphy was already 32 by the end of the play off season.

And I don't think he improved after that! ;-)
