Back from the game
at 20:21 23 Feb 2019

-we started really well and it would have been a great game to watch but the red card ruined it. It felt harsh to me and the penalty looked soft from our end.
- the player gave everything they had with Keane, Pennington, Judge and Nolan looking great. There was some strong passing football that has been missing for so long.
- the injuries during the game just adds to feeling it is fate that relegation happens the seasons.
- first class fans again today and pretty much everyone waited to clap the players off and appreciate the efforts.
- the defensive side of our game is still so weak but I can’t moan after we went down to 10 men.
- I just hope Collins and Harrison are fit for the next game.

Sorry I have been mad busy with a new job so I may have missed it. Is Rowe injured? He isn’t in the squad or under 23s.

I really try to avoid giving Refs criticism etc but he was rubbish! The home fans booed him off in the first half and it must have swayed him as even I could see from our end it wasn’t a red card. Total rubbish! I am a mild mannered guy but I couldn’t stop myself giving him some crap when he came to our end.

The red card did ruin the game but I actually really enjoyed the match till then. I was a Mick supporter but I would still rather lose and play football like this.

I still worry when I watch the attacking practice and the wingers can finish better than our strikers. Saying that I thought Harrison had a good game but you can still see the left needs a natural player for that side.

There were some real positives from the game against a big lump of a Wednesday team so fingers crossed the tide will turn soon.

A draw would have been the right result and Harrison should have nailed the chance in the second half.

Where do I start?!

I can’t remember another match for ages when I came away thinking we had been robbed. There is no way in a million years they deserved to win. A draw would have been about right due to us not taking our chances. I always like to watch the pre game attacking practice and you could see the lack of finishing.

- Chambers had his worst game in ages but he will be back.
- Nsiala was so hit and miss but the potential is there to be a big player.
- No quality from corners but that is compared to Waghorn.
- Chalobah was class in the first half but he faded in the second. No surprise when you think he hasn’t played much first team football but he has one big future.
- Nolan was great with real quality. You could see him and Edwards pushing each other on. So nice to see some real talent in midfield and a breath of fresh air.
- Edwards was great and worked hard going back too.
- Jackson is a speed merchant but needs to work on his physicality. Him and Harrison were moved off the ball to easy at times.
- So nice to go to a game again and have the full fan base behind the team. Loud and proud. First class support.
Overall we can’t expect miracles and it’s a year of transition with a lot of ups and downs. But we wanted more entertainment and PH is certainly working towards better football.

IPSWICH. Mad keen on Kayden Jackson at Accrington. Not alone. But they have Stanley chief @AndyhHolt to deal with. All the best.
