This just papers over the cracks and we end up struggling every season, using loan players to keep us up, then unable to kick-on as we cannot replace them in the summer. Difficult to see a way out of this mess without setting a long term plan and sticking to it however painful it becomes. |

Why does he need a 2nd trial, is Jewell such a poor judge of player and so unsure of himself he needs to see him in training again?
I don't remember a single PJ press conference where he has not said he's close to a signing or 2 only to look like a complete muppet when we ineveitably sign nobody. Why doesn't he just shut up and do 1?

blues1 - Kenyon was deputy chief exec before becoming CEO at Utd (i.e. they didn't pluck him from nowhere), before that he was CEO at Umbro, where he would have had numerous dealings with football clubs. Get your facts straight. There are execs which may take to running clubs without experience but usually they have a drive passion for both their club and the game. Clegg has no interest in football and no links to the club. We are a million miles past the tipping point he is talking about and there is no disputing he has alienated a large portion of the fanbase. |

Sick of saying this - we are not reacting to the bad start - it's the last 2 yrs under Jewell, more than enough time to make even a small amount of progress.

We cannot allow egg chasing on the hallowed turf of Portman Road, or posh rugger types in the stands. Not to mention what it will do to the pitch. Clegg shows once again he has no clue about football fans. The fact they don't have grounds big enough to host there own sport says it all IMO. |
