Thats ridiculous I was heavily involved with a decent sized club until recently - boys, girls, mixed, mens, ladies, vets, walking etc Id suggest the Club look around for a new supplier and in the meantime help your team out If they are a decent outfit they wont want any of their teams playing in old and ill fitting kit £1,600 is way too much |

He's been our lynchpin for a few years and will be sorely missed but as in life, football moves on and so will we. Exciting times ahead. All the very best to Sam and thanks for everything. |
 | Forum Reply | Liverpool to pay out Jota contract at 09:15 9 Jul 2025
As mentioned previously Death in Service goes straight to the individual's family, so LFC will not benefit in any way from that, but it will provide his family with a multiple of his salary as a lump sum death benefit. So why are LFC also paying up his contract? Dunno, but good on them if they are. Replacing him will cost a few bob, I wonder if LFC have insurance to cover that - presumably they do the the form of Keyman Insurance. |

'Hutchinson's England'!!!! When did he take ownership of England? I'm thought I would have seen it before now. I guess its the same as when Roy Keane took ownership of Ipswich. |
 | Forum Reply | Would you rather at 11:12 11 Jun 2025
After last season I am not that bothered about the PL, apart from the money and the 'fame' that comes with it. Much preferred the football in the Champ. So probably England to win the WC. |

Yep, apart from anything else, the manager should be English - or English qualified, just like the players have to be. In my opinion. |

WallyBoy is right on this one. He cant get in the side even when fit with several others ahead of him, so no great point in having him here I'm afraid - and I suspect he agrees with that. Decent player though. |
 | Forum Reply | Pensions at 10:26 28 May 2025
The state pension is unsustainable, the NHS is unsustainable, the benefit system is unsustainable, defined benefit pension schemes (Final Salary) are unsustainable. They all have been for years and its been known for years. So YES is the answer to your question. |

Well done Mark. I did the 2019 Great North Run, raising money for for Bowel Cancer UK, in memory of my daughter's boyfriend who died of the disease aged 27. Almost did the Great South Run last year but it got cancelled the day before - we're doing it this year instead. Any fund raising/charity donating I do tends to go to Bowel Cancer UK - or a local food bank. Keep up the running. Its a great feeling once you've done it, but like you the thought of it and the actual running it, is not always so great. Assume you Parkrun? |
