EFL League One

Ipswich the better of two poor teams on a substandard pitch. Deserved the lead, despite too often playing hoofball. Shame that comical defending and Norris rushing needlessly off his line let two points slip.

Excellent first half. Thought we played really well.

NormEmerges: hoofball? We started short on every goalkick. A lot more long ball in second half due to high Wycombe press.

Better, plenty of width but just don’t get Norris playing ahead of Holy.

Ipswich fought themselves into the game as the first half went on and were the better footballing team by half time. Much better than WW until they equalised but the Beast made a difference for 15 crucial minutes to getWW back in and then on top. By the end Town were hanging on somewhat. Great shame Norris repeated his Boxing Day error; looks like Holy will have to come back. Judge much better and whole team hardworking. But this is such a poor division. The pitch was very poor.
Not sure what I think about Lambert’s new contract. It seems very long for a club in our position.

Norris needs to go.

I thought Jackson ran his socks off today, and was to be appauded, he just needs a bit more self belief that when he chases balls down, he can actually disrupt the defender and win it off them. We need to get smarter at when to hit the deck, other teams are playing the referee and we are not doing it as well, and are then getting frustrated and losing our game plan as we have been disrupted by referee decisions.

Very encouraging as we played the football and we just need that cutting edge. Restricted Wycombe to their only two weapons a long lump into the box and long throw ins. Downes excellent and Garbutt class

Thought we were and the better of the 2 teams in a tight fought match. Judge is showing his quality, garbutt pure class, Huws looked classy in middle of the park, Norwood sharp. Jackson runs tirelessly and has the heart of a lion, but its a shame his football brain isn't as quick, he seems to need his electric pace to catch up after losing a couple of yards by not anticipating play and always seems to be on the wrong side of a defender, maybe lacking confidence? Defence is a shambles, and surely it is time for Chambers to be put out to pasture. Bring Holy back please. Great to see the Bish back on the field.

How on Earth is Samuel given a score of 7 and the beast 6.8!!!

Huws for me had a solid game and got involved well and Garbutt the best contributor on the pitch by some distance.
