Average performances from the individual players on a general note. Edwards horrible; loses possession time after time and looks really slow. Harrison won most headers and looked lively. Chambo once again a terrific captain at the back, although he may have been a bit sloppy on their goal. Havent seen it back.

Great point though. Some good spells, but overall we have a really average team. Need a few wingers, a right back and a Lansbury-type in the centre of the park. Still believe Jackson has a lot to prove.

That's the second time we have had Referee Woolmer this season (Preston) and he has been worse than awful both times. Whether its Portman Road or in general a truly poor official heaven knows. Definitely a point gained against a very good side but still a massive mountain to climb to get out of this mess we are in. We can do it but signings in January could be key.

encouraging performance against a good side. Super goal from EH and very solid from our CBs but still would like to see MP at RB with new left CB signed/loaned. Once again our full backs lacked quality as there was so much space for them.
Thought Nolan worked very hard and was always available but while Dozzy tried he needs more time so hope PL finds someone to strengthen midfield.

Sheffield were a well organised side obviously used to playing with each other. We contained their attack pretty well. Chalobah came of age in this game being everywhere he needed to be and having lost his tendency for loose passes. My man of the match. Nolan worked hard and is beginning to show the potential I feel sure he has. Dozzell was uncharacteristically unremarkable, as was Edwards. Knudsen and Spence failed to take advantage of possession and space in front of themselves. Harrison was far stronger than ever before and played with confidence. His strike was superb. Before the game I predicted a draw. After we scored I really thought we could win. We could have nicked it anytime - especially on the break. The improvement in Town is very marked and we will not go down this season.

I do hope that Lambert puts in a poor report regarding the referee. Inconsistentwith both teams early on, became an extra player for Sheffield in the second half and bottled it when he should have shown a red for a player striking another albeit with his leg. This referee should be demoted or not given games until he addresses his weaknesses.

Ratings show Pennington, Chalobah and Harrison as our best three performers and I’d agree with that. I’d also agree with comments about the referee. I saw him in the Preston game when he awarded us a penalty and sent off their keeper but he simply got so many decision wrong, sadly, mostly against us.

I think he was probably too short to get a proper view of most incidents but he really shouldn’t be reffing at this level. Ann’s league refs

Sorry but to complete my post, when ITFC are away I watch Linton Granta in the Cambs Prmier League, the refs there are much better than yesterday’s.
