Question I was just asked by someone at work. Bit deep for a Friday afternoon, and not something I would be overly keen to discuss with a colleague I don't know very well (not that I even know what my biggest regret is). Naturally I deflected it by saying agreeing to work with her must be up there.
Not something I ever think about really. Best not to dwell on them right?

Regrets, I've had a few But then again, too few to mention....
Apart from Not seeing Queen live with Freddie Not traveling more in late teens/early 20's Not having a bachelor pad (or lads pad) Not buying Google shares when someone I knew well was telling me to Laughing at Apple when they said they were taking on Nokia and Sony Ericsson (and not buying shares)
I don't exactly lose sleep over them though
The bachelor pad is a good one, any lad who is single & has a decent income should move into a flat with a group of mates ASAP.

There are a few things I would have done differently but they'd have led me down a different path and the one I am on is great so they aren't regrets.
Regrets are easy to have when you are unhappy - but ultimately if you are fulfilled with your family, your friends, your home and your career then your regrets are just things you wished you'd done differently but don't really matter.
Yup - 100% on this.
I often wonder how my life might have panned out if I'd asked a particular young woman out at a particular time, if I'd decided to focus on being a sports reporter and not a news reporter in my first job, if I'd continued playing football when I was 20 and I'd just moved to London etc etc.
But everything would be very different - and I'm very happy with my life now, which is a blessing in itself. Sliding doors and all that...
..the day the removal van turned up to empty my house house on sale completion for a house move to...... Essex! Decades later still working out ways to reverse that regrettable event.. (exacerbated in later years by moving even farther south!!!)

Not diversifying when my business was making shedloads of money. When it came crashing down after the 2008 crash I had all my eggs in one basket.
I did something similar in the same year.
Sold a cash cow of a business in 2008, one of the UK leaders in its field - and then set up another business with one product. Talk about eggs in one basket.
Traded a couple of months and suffered a product recall. £140k of stock to burn.
Things have gradually gone downhill from there!
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”

Not taking Uni seriously and not using it as a way of getting into some kind of medical profession. I was too aimless to think about all that stuff, but the ironic thing is, if I could have just had that aim then, i wouldn't still be aimless now.
hey ho.
Aha, me too!, exactly the same. Still not sure more money stressgfull job would equate to more happyness.
