How are they "bulletproof from an injury perspective"? Plenty of cover, or secret access to bionic spare parts?

Ha I much prefer the bionic parts idea! They have so much strength in depth that their second XI is better technically than most clubs' first XIs and Maresca is showing himself to be a coaching zealot much like our Kieran. Crazy things happen in football and Leicester tripping up would sit high in that category, given the underlying performance advantage they enjoy today.

Leicester v Leeds on Friday (n/t) by GlasgowBlue 29 Oct 2023 13:05
Ha. Remember when Sheff Wed were so far ahead of us in March and Barnsley were in touching distance, and we all wanted a Sheff Wed win?

I’m just going to rolll with whatever happens rather than trying to second guess what results will be best for us this season.

I don't get this. I'd much prefer a draw, gives us a chance to be level with Leicester on Tuesday night whilst still extending the gap to Leeds. I think a mindset that sees us wanting to chase the team above us is much more healthy than seeking to defend against those below us.

So far, so good:

'Matt Piper

Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

What's been really good from both sides is the last gasp defending, the blocks, following runners.

It's a tight affair and I didn't think it would be. There were plenty of opportunities in and around the penalty area, Abdul Fatawu has had the outstanding moment but it's a good game of football.

Leeds are dangerous in the transition, but I think Leicester have defended well.'
