I am surprised there was no 35+ tier for this one, but assumed it meant that there weren't that many people with more than 30.
The system still needs work if we were selling other games at the same time, even more work if there are that many fans with 30+ there is virtually nothing left now. |
Still around one hundred left at 10:55. Assuming the expected demand, I would have expected anyone on 30 pts would have tried to purchase by now. Managed to get mine and my sons by 10:17 when there was plenty of choice, even though I was around 1500 in the queue initially. Going to be madness tomorrow. | | | |

30 points really isn't that many.
You would have 10 if you were gold / silver last year and took membership again this season.
So, you would only need to have been to 20 games out of almost 50 away games over those two seasons. There could easily be more than 2000 people with 30+ points given you would only need to have been to c40% of away games! | | | |

I cannot believe the club would have used th 30+ category first if we had more qualifying fans than tickets. But it does look like we are close to 2k on 30+ points. There maybe around a 100 held back for players/club officials. Looks like around 250 tickets left.
Regular away fans will likely be 50+ points, and we have sold out pretty much all our away allocations this season. [Post edited 18 Mar 11:43]

Am guessing there's like 2000 on 30+ priority for 2050 tickets. And 99% of the 2000 has been online sorting them out.
Like you say, otherwise surely they would have had an additional priority window for 35+ ? |
If there were 2000 on 30 plus, I am sure they would have added an extra band because not everyone can log on at 10am.
As it is, I managed to get three tickets at 10.10 but found it surprising to be 500th in the queue given I clicked as soon as they became available. But I suppose if 1000 people did the same at the same time maybe where you are on the queue is a bit random.

IIRC the queuing system randomly assigns you a position when you join, so that it is not first come first served. It does not mean that all of the positions in the queue ahead of you are filled. Someone joining the queue after you could be assigned an earlier or later position than you. This could explain why once tickets go on sale the queue appears to move quickly. There could be a lot of queuing positions ahead of you that have not been assigned to anyone. [Post edited 18 Mar 11:50]

Got mine.
Overnighter from Cornwall. Home at breakfast time for a shower and to get changed, then back to the station for the train to Norwich.
Edit; logged back into the ticket website, and there are still some left, but not as many as I thought.
Shows we have more 30+ pointers than we (fans) thought and that people wait for the lower tiers to get tickets with friends.
But surely the club wouldn't have started ticket sales at 30+ points if there are more with 30+ than there are tickets?
I have wondered all season if a 35+ bracket would come in at some point. [Post edited 18 Mar 12:28]

Nearly happened to me this morning. An alert came up on the phone saying "information about Norwich tickets", so idly clicked to read what it was saying (I can't go, even if I had remotely enough points), only to be taken through the not-a-robot process and inserted into a queue. |  |
