But who is your favourite player?

Easy to answer Morsy, because he’s our everything.

But for me, I’m going Burgess.

No idea why - but about 3 months ago I started calling Morsy “Pirlo” in chatting to others

Pirlo for me

Janoi Donacien... Always.

Love his journey here, shame he hasnt got to feature much this season. We could have used him at times.

Not a relevant answer, I know, but when I was a kid I used to like 'Queen Spark Rangers' because I thought they sounded exciting.

My answer, I think genuinely, is "all of them" because they've all been contributing parts of something fantastic for a couple of years (or just for a few months) and I really can't separate them. But if forced to, my answer is Morsy, because he is the leader as well.

My 5 year old loves Leif Davis, but wavered in his support because "Leif Davis never scores" and then his favourite became Sarmiento, Leif scored a couple so he's back to being the favourite again I think.
My favourite is Mass, but I don't think he should be playing every match.

This is my default answer.

In terms of first teamers, Mass. There are moments where he genuinely seems world class with his feet.

Kayden. A unique Ipswich career.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Morsy - just what a guy.

Honorable mentions for Woolfenden, Hutchinson (never fall in love with a loan player) and Sarmiento (no idea why, just something about him!).

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

I've got a real soft spot for Burgess, out of all of the players i think he embodies the ethos McKenna has instilled in this team. The improvement he's shown and a willingness to improve even at what would be considered the peak of his career.

I'm not sure it will ever get better for him, but he's been turned into a really good Championship centre half in what is a demanding role for him with Davis on his travels most of the games.

Going with the defenders union here, but it's one of Leif or Woolfy

Sam Morsy.

Captain ! Leader ! Legend !

Exactly the type of player the club needed to get out of darkness.

I couldn’t possibly just pick one…

1. Chappers - the best role model at our football club since Matt Holland. What a player and what a guy

2. Leif Davies - wand of a left boot and makes football look so easy to play
3. Morsey - a proper leader of men. I love his leadership qualities.

I couldn't pick, but my teen son, who has made the holy conversion from Man Utd to Ipswich fan over the last couple of years, has decided his is Hirst. So I'm going with that.

Great work with the conversion. Or exorcism, or whatever.

Don’t tell my wife, but I fancy that ball that Burgess plays down the left to an on running Davis more than I do her.

It’s absolutely beautiful.

Another one for KJ. Came in at our lowest point and he's still going at our highest (in recent times). Testament to his attitude, similar can be said for Donacien.

Mass is so unique. I don't remember another player who came through as a young, ball playing, deep lying midfielder with not much meat on him, to someone so stocky and combative in his latter years but who still has the skill and quality that he started out with.

Hasn't scored a shed load but the ones he has have generally been brilliant.

KJ just shades JD for me, purely based on him featuring more this season.
In that topic, I don’t even know what’s kept him out for so long!
