Kourouma's Injury Not Serious
Wednesday, 15th Aug 2012 06:00

Prospective signing Cheick Kourouma will be out of action for three weeks with the knee injury he suffered in training on Monday.

The Frenchman, who has so far been prevented from signing for Town due to red tape relating to his former clubs, had a scan on Monday and received what was considered good news.

“Luckily enough it’s not too bad,” revealed boss Paul Jewell. “We think it’ll probably be about three weeks. He’s just nicked his medial ligament and it’s not as bad as we thought.”

Glad to hear, but doesnt he have to be our player before we are concerned about his welfare?

yep, seems to be a decent player with potential.
+3wks is not too bad, probably still sorting out red tape by the time he gets back to fitness!

Must be the longest roll of red tape ever. Guinness book of records i reckon.

Ridiculous amount of time this red tape takes to clear up. Lets hope he really brings something to the team, and is worth the wait.

Kourouma must be feeling pretty fed up with a knee injury on top of all these delays. The red tape issue is becoming a joke and holding the poor lad back. I wonder if he has complained to the PFA?

Shouldn't it be the job of the agent to sort out the red tape before he offers his player around? If not, why do we pay the agent fees?

I hope the lad gets well soon.
