Advice for decent MK away day
at 21:20 7 Feb 2022

Never been before. Best to park near ground and use amenities around there and bar inside stadium for some atmosphere, or go through hassle of starting in town first?

What’s everyone doing?

Players getting abuse here as well (close up footage)
at 00:41 8 Dec 2021

Continue the demise then mate.

Forget about a promotion push. Hell don’t even think about being in the championship at somepoint . You have gone soft. Other clubs would not take this. Tonight was pathetic. Disgusting. The season over.

Jesus.let’s break this pathetic looser ITFC bubble we have where we accept nothing and seem to put other clubs and fans on a pedestal. Can you imagine West ham taking that? Norwich? Wigan? Sunderland?

Stop being so deluded and nice. Enough is enough. This club is on the verge of something terrible. Show me one positive that has happened to our league stature since the acquisition.

I may seem a bit rabid tonight... but to be clear
at 00:13 8 Dec 2021

Just for peace of mind, you aren’t wrong. One of the worst performances ever. Absolutely dire. We were never going to have any part in the game, forget scoring. Nothing at all.

I think we might have optimistically thought about a manager bounce. Forget it, we are done this season. Fallen too far down.

Disappointed at how many on here are slagging off the players
at 23:35 7 Dec 2021

The issue is so many fans don’t really deserve an opinion as they have never played football at a reasonable level and so don’t understand the standards and expectations of
the game.

I have and was also at the game this evening. Which was dire, abject and one of the worst performances even in this league I have seen. when the fans do everything to be there, the team should so better.

There is no question here. You shouldn’t even be asking us how we feel. Tonight was one of the worst performances I have witnessed. It was a disgrace. The players deserve to see how we feel. Pressure absolutely warranted. Any racial abuse not, but as far as I could see this was just a group of useless players deservedly getting told by fans they simply don’t belong here.

Coventry away - pub help needed!
at 17:29 5 Dec 2019

Sounds oddly up my street!

Is there any central place for away fans then or scattered amongst various places? Taking some friends and just want to show them a bit of pre-game atmosphere.

Coventry away - pub help needed!
at 16:30 5 Dec 2019

Saw that ticket sales are just under 2k.

Never been to St Andrews before, are there decent pubs for the away fans and if so where about are they?

Will people booze in the City or find somewhere closer to the ground.

COYBS.

So all those slagging off Chambers????????? (n/t)
at 18:18 17 Aug 2019

Fair enough, but I have to respectfully disagree with some of what you have said.

...particularly around the point you have made about Hurst and the connection with the club/fans.

I do understand the difference between a slip and a defensive error, it was more just trying to urge people to think about the bigger picture and players overall contribution.

If you remove Chambers from the club altogether, I would give you good odds that Ipswich would not go up this year as a direct result.

I cannot emphasize how important a captain is in a team. Most players are not natural born leaders. We only see a fraction of what goes on at ITFC and how important that leadership and associated qualities are behind the scenes.

A team does not achieve without a strong captain. I've seen that throughout watching and playing football.

You can start to blur those lines when you deal with unbelievable football budgets, but at this level, his role is so, so important.

I do believe Chambers will prove all of the negative posters wrong.

I don't understand the level of criticism coming Chambers way.

He is our captain. The fans should be exercising some intelligence and looking at the bigger picture; his general leadership qualities, his positive impact and presence throughout the club, his role with the younger players coming on-board and his impact in the team, which is good enough for L1 and the Championship.

What do you think the club would be like without him? Do you think it would still be as together and have the same connection with the fans? He is integral to that and integral to guiding us back.

Do you think Liverpool players went in to meltdown when StevieG slipped against Chelsea? No..because they understand and value what he did for the club and it's not destroyed by something so insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

I couldn't care less about Chambers mistake last week. It is two points and we must look at the bigger picture this year.

Anyone who doesn't think he is good enough for this league, is just wrong.

Sorry, I've played football at a high level and he absolutely good enough. If you don't see that, you lack a football IQ and that's just a fact.

Sorry to be immediately provocative, but I actually disagree.

He isn't the finished article but we're talking about the opening game of the season. I watched on IFollow (and so the usual caveats apply) but I actually think he had a fairly decent game and will grow into the team over the coming months.

I do think he has a calm head when he has the ball and doesn't panic. I also think his positional sense is there...and one thing which struck me, was that he is actually pretty physical. There were times he pushed people off the ball quite easily today*

*I think the physicality of L1 is a lot less than Championship and don't think he would have necessarily done the same there, but for L1 I think he's actually pretty strong for his age...etc.

I bloody love Luke Chambers

I think you gravely underestimate his fight and who he is as a person.

The EADT articles have been eye opening re what he has gone through that affected his level of performance. You'll see Chambo V2 this year.

I honestly think he'll be up there in top 3 best performers this year.

There's a fire been lit in him again. Don't underestimate him.

Could not agree more. In the wider context of the state of football (lack of loyalty, greed, interfering agents, short-termism by players) he is an unbelievable person and captain.

We should have more flags and things dedicated to him around the ground on match day.

I know Chelsea had a JT banner up for years. We really should have more for him. I think he'll be the nucleus to drive us to success this year.

Apart from the usuals - and allez x3 which will probably keep going this year - are any of the fans working on dropping some new songs?

North stand for Sunderland at home - wow
at 22:10 28 Jul 2019

Had a break from Football but will be there for our first home game.

There's barely any seats in North Stand lower available...it's practically sold out apart from a handful in Block 4.

Will there be more on offer once we get to general sale and various season ticket holders decline, or will that be the case for this game and rest of season?

Don't get me wrong, it's great. I just want to know the situ for future tickets as I'd prefer the North lower.

Trevoh Chalobah - well done
at 18:57 22 Dec 2018

He did well today. Grew into the game and ended it one of the best for the town. Certainly led out of the rest of the midfield. Put his body in the way, and really got involved. A couple of lovely touches on the turn and showed his potential. Well done.

Felt for Andre. For him to shine he needs someone next to him with real physical presence to allow him to play. Too thinly spread having to do both physical and creative side and not currently able to do both in the game given his size, and physical stature is experience. I think his place is coming on when the middle starts to tire.
