The most ridiculous argument I had was in Co-op just after there was a campaign not to sell overly strong alcohol like Tennants Super etc.
I asked for some Strongbows because I couldn't find any on the shelf, the manager advised me that they don't sell it anymore because of their policy on strong alcohol. I advised him that it was only 5% and Strongbow was just a brand name and wasn't very strong but he wasn't having any of it.
He must have realised his error as he has it on the shelves again now.
Needless to say I had the last laugh.
