I've endured rail replacements over the decades, but not today. I can't be arsed. I don't feel sad about not going. I don't feel like I'm missing out one bit. It's like being in limbo. I want a new manager but honestly don't have any faith in MEG to do a Sheepshanks/Burley. And shudder at the thought of having no one experienced at the club should the fans drive McCarthy out in the next two months.
The best I can hope for this season...
Picking up some wins and challenging there or there abouts.
The atmosphere being sh1t instead of toxic.
Finishing 10th or something, nodding politely at Mick and Terry as the leave the club, and getting a new management team with exciting fresh ideas in the summer.
I love ITFC but supporting at the moment is pretty sh1te and giving rather ambivalent and mixed feelings.
