Should we be having a ceremonial press conference, a ten page argument about if he was worse than Jewell or not or an open-top bus ride to mark the occasion?
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
I preferred the opening day 3-1 win away to abort earlier the season but his finest hour was the League Cup quarter final against WBA. There were only about 8000 of us there but the atmosphere was electric.

Jewell was probably a worse manager because he no ideas opposed to bad ideas. keane did far more damage though.
This farce of a game meant we had to endure him longer
On the sheer basis of 'when should they have got the sack' Keane, with his 14 game winless run stetcjing to the end of October is deomstratably 'worse', although Jewell's habit of the odd half-decent run when he was starting to look doomed probably meant he did more damage than he should have been able to either. So, essentially, the answer to the perenial TWTD question is still 'isn't this a bit like asking if you'd rather tread in a dog egg with your left foot or your right foot?'

I was there.
It is the only time I feel comfortable saying this.
"Scenes".
Weird, weird scenes.

I quite enjoyed that game. I was the only one of our group that braved it. The snow was up to my shins by the time I got back to Felixstowe. The game really should have been abandoned. The "Keano knock him out" chant when it looked as though the ref was going to was quite funny at the time, I must've been pissed.
It took me 4 hours to drive 10 miles through the snow that afternoon. Planned to be home in time to watch the game on Sky and ended up listening to the whole match on the car radio instead.

I really couldn't understand how it was allowed to continue. I imagine the Sky cameras played a big part.
O'Connor had an amazing game as well - I really thought he would go on to be a key player.

We looked amazing in the snow and shocking before and after it.
It was all as if in a dream.
It was a funny season as we got off to a great start and were still in the top six at the end of October. We then lost McAuley and Hyam for three months, Keano grew a beard and went into meltdown.
