I hardly ever down-arrow, but in this instance because it's a crass response (unlike many others who have equally consistently wanted McCarthy to leave) to a Manager who has done good things as well as bad with the club and because of the posters previous "Muck out" abusiveness.
He's leaving, no need to crow. Especially with the uncertainty about what will happen next. |  |

I didn't know about the OP's previous abusiveness, & would never condone that.
I've turned from being an inner to an outer tho, and much tho I appreciated him saving us from relegation, I'm afraid MM's style of play has done the opposite of attracting me to go to games recently, so I'm glad he's going - sorry if some think that makes me a bad person! | |

Indeed, but one can be pleased he's gone without dancing on the rooftops singing "The wicked witch is dead".
I only hope we do get a manager who can both produce more attractive football and win matches. The problem with McCarthy to a large extent was that he too rarely did the former and was no longer doing the latter often enough (especially on crucial or significant occasions) - then compounded the situation by falling out with the fans. | |
