How did the budgie ticket procedure work out? 07:56 - Sep 3 with 804 viewsITFC_Forever

Where they had to show ID to match the name written on their ticket?

Did it cause bottlenecks or hold-ups?

Just wondering in advance of when we play them.

Can't see how that works when they all have the same surname.

Ha, well there is that.

Wonder if anyone was genuinely turned away as they had the wrong name on the ticket?

Talking to someone involved in the ticket processes for away fans yesterday, it went well. Allegedly no-one was denied entry, fans queued with ticket and ID ready, checks were made, and no longer to enter the ground than usual. I was told that everyone was checked.
This is consistent with my own experience when all away fans have had to show ID (at certain England away games).
