Fair play to Evans 17:02 - Oct 25 with 916 viewsgainsboroughblue

Took a punt on an up and coming lower league manager, which a lot of us wanted. Niggling concerns have developed into red flags and after 4 months has made the right decision for all parties. Despite the short tenure, I still think Hurst was given more time than he may have got elsewhere. Now, time for operation salvation.

He might as well stuck with MM if his only ambition is to avoid relegation

I think he'd certainly settle for that this campaign, as we all would at the moment.

Although only after Hurst has been allowed to dismantle a relatively decent squad. Yet again, the Evans regime shows a complete lack of governance and forethought which leaves the club in a worse place (and probably him poorer too).

Evans made a £5m profit and sold the best players. He made the appointment after weeks of consideration. This mess is completely his fault - yet again.

And you think it was ambition to bring in Hurst? PMSL
