ME interview 17:45 - Jan 30 with 1007 viewsfooters

Sorry if I missed the answer to this or am being thick, but which clubs/owners was ME talking about? Just wondered who had approached him about buying the Club.

Two clubs, "chucked some money at it for two years, it all went wrong, and one got relegated to League One."

Stated further along that he wouldn't say who, which is obviously fair enough.

Oh I don't expect ME to say but my curiosity demands to know which prospective buyers he could have flogged us to but decided against.

People slate ME but he's not about to sell us to someone who'll wreck the club. Even though he easily could.

I'm guessing one of them could have been Blackburn.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Exactly, he is a man who has a clear affection for the club and is well spoken. I hold no grudges.

The Venkys? Imagine the sudden turn of emotion!

Didn't really think my question through as the interviewer only asks about potential buyers 'along the way', which is 11 years - far more than I had in mind for some reason, so maybe a lot more difficult to work out.

My curiosity may have to wait, but reckon Venky's is a good shout.

Now see what you did there, is remove a reason people could have used against ME, as a justification for their dislike.

But you have unfortunately pointed out, that he seems to be doing, essentially something that looks a little bit like a good thing.
