Maybe, once Norwich is out of the way, we should play the kids/our own players/players that will be here next season. Get them used to each other and gelling as a team in preparedness for our League 1 campaign. That bit of extra experience and game-time together could be vital, couldn't it?

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

I understand what you are saying and part of me agrees, But until it's mathematically impossible for us to survive Lambert must play what he thinks is our strongest side.

We've just brought in 4 or so players in the last few weeks in order to get us out of this mess. He's not going to jettison them so quickly.

Also wonder how much the kids will get out of playing in an uncompetitive team.

Kenlock, Lankester, Bishop, Downes already in the first XI.

I would only really add Dozzell into the mix, and probably from the bench.

Nydam and Emmanuel on the bench too.

Bart

Kenlock
Collins
Chambers
Bree

Downes
Skuse
Bishop

Judge
Sears
Keane (or Quaner)

The above is probably not far off our current first choice XI (maybe Chalobah would usually be in).. There are only 2 loans players in it, and Keane is out of contract at the end of the season and could potentially join us.

So i guess probably bring Emmanuel in for Bree, and keep Keane in ahead of Quaner.

If you then add the likes of Jackson, Harrison, Spence and Nolan alongside the players you have listed and we pretty much have the team that was playing ubnder Hurst.

I think that is a decent enough team to challenge in League One but..

a) We are still a Championship team and should fight until the very end

b) Getting thumped every week isn't the best preperatrion for next season.
