I will be interested to see what, in practical terms, such a bill can do.
Local Authorties struggle to house homeless people appropriately, even with families- so how they would suddenly provide extra accomodation is hard to know.
There is also a massive evidential issue. How do you trigger the duty to house? Just make claims? Prove claims? How?
Perhaps someone who has looked at the bill more closely knows some of the answers. |  |
