Anyone else seen this strange but brilliant film?

Spoiler

It is one man driving his car talking to people on the phone about a concrete pour whilst trying to handle some personal problems.

You only see Tom Hardy as the main character, alone in the car (after the opening). Everyone else is on the phone.

It is the oddest prospect for a movie that I have come across and yet it is superb.

Well worth a watch, I think it is on Amazon Prime, but might be Netflix.

In the 38 games in which ALB played in goal for us, we averaged 1.53 points per game which, had they been over the course of a single season, would have seen us challenging for the play offs. This at a time when we were otherwise struggling against relegation. Oh, and didn't Mick Mills have terrific posture.

No but I have read his 'Second Treatise on Government', was quite surprised when he turned up in the American band Spirit three hundred years later...

Yes, saw it a few months ago on Film 4 I think. Strangely compelling and watchable, Hardy is superb. You keep thinking something else is going to happen as the film goes on, but it's just him and the unravelling of his life during a car journey.

As with Film 4, no doubt it's repeated ad infinitum, so worth looking out for.

It was on TV just a few nights ago as it goes.

I'd seen it before some time back but figured it was worth another look.

Strangely captivating. Very good.

Well it looks like a duck, it sounds like a duck. Nope, dunno what it is.
