Think he enjoyed playing, and meeting TWTD royalty, in the fanzone more than the game though, obviously.... (He wanted to leave the game after 5 minutes  luckily I was able to stay whilst the Mrs took him away)
It’s a start anyway, he enjoyed a pre match orange juice in the Black Horse and then soaked up the atmosphere in the fanzone once we’d been pitch side to collect his certificate so got the full package.

You can have tickets anywhere in the ground, just have to meet in the fanzone at 1:30pm and then free to leave wherever once you’re done. |

Had to laugh, bumped into a Liverpool fan taking his son to his first game. All his younger mates go to PR so did not want to be left out. Interesting to see if he turns out to be a Red or a Blue in the future. |  | | |

Hopefully he'll end up supporting us if those are the games he can get to. It's a tricky one; some kids follow their parents and some switch allegiances to a more local team. I suppose it depends on who they get to see most.
My old man is a Villa fan, but we'd moved to Suffolk when I was a baby and he didn't travel to see them, so I knew nothing other than Portman Road. My eldest is a Swans fan as he gets to see them most. But my daughter prefers us as I tend to take her to more of our away games. It gets a bit confusing! | |
