The question is of course, if we are serious of a 5 year plan, it would involve keeping all these players and not selling them.

You just cannot keep players like Downes in modern day football. Players have the power.

Also, he's done so well, it would be unfair to hold his career back if the right offer came in.

If we still have a 32 year old James Norwood in 2022 I’m not sure it will be a particularly good sign, and I hope the 26 year old Miles Kenlock has been a late bloomer and suddenly come on in leaps and bounds
