I think just about everybody realised that quite some time ago....

That said, are SCM not seeking to make money for their clients (so themselves only indirectly) and are they not doing it by investing in (and therefore supporting) firms they expect to bounce back?

It’s not as though they are shorting people into oblivion. Their clients also probably lost a tonne because of this so (taken in the round) are unlikely to wind up better off....

Sadly thats capitalism for you. For dvety loser someone will see a gain.

My main regret is that these people who gamble other peoples money earn futunes compared to those who do "real" jobs. How someone like mogg can support rules that have allowed poor wages for carers etc is what disgusts me more.
