Interesting to read, so no complaints here. Although a minor point; shouldn’t the picks be based on positions players normally played in? I may be self wooshing here, but regarding Johno’s picks, wasn’t Treacle a left back for us, Venus a CB, Magic a box-to-box MF not DF and Scowie not an AMC? |  |

And man could he kick a ball. I remember a free-kick he took (possibly v Charlton) where the keeper would have been decapitated had he got anywhere near it. | |

Taricco played both sides but mainly on the left. Veno played both left-back and centre-half but certainly mainly at centre-half but Johnno seemed to have wanted to get him into the team. Scowy played a few roles in and around the attack, think he actually made his debut as a central midfielder if I remember rightly.
Incidentally, feature was Kieron's idea and we've already got quite a list of players who have contributed.
