The var officials didn't look to see if it was 100% over the line as they know the goal line tech will tell the ref, and likewise the ref might have thought it mostly looked in, but he trusted his goal line tech watch - you can see him telling the players his watch hasn't gone. Hawkeye have said they didn't have the angles on this, so really the ref's need to know Goal, No Goal or No Idea! |  |
