We admitted a man with such severe hypothermia his core temperature was -273.15ºC.

He's 0K.

OK, there has to be a gag in here but I'm not seeing it. I've looked at the Wikipedia page and found this:

'One of the lowest documented body temperatures from which someone with accidental hypothermia has survived is 13.0 °C (55.4 °F) in a near-drowning of a 7-year-old girl in Sweden.'

So I can't even put your post down to a misplaced decimal point and/or accidental minus sign. Or someone accidentally locking themselves in an industrial, sorry make that research laboratory, freezer unit.

Or have I just spoiled the set up before you deliver a punchline?

So you should have typed '0K' rather than 'OK', never let it be said that the TWTD keyboard police are asleep at seven on a Sunday morning.

But it is typed as 0K.... Last edited 06:58 a few minutes before your post.

I'm not remotely scientifically minded, and would not have been able to answer a question on the subject but immediately linked them and got it.

That's my limit for the day, will now go back to bed.

Yep, I can see that now. Does anyone know where the TWTD keyboard police can get some funding for a magnifying glass?
