pretty close to mine with a couple of toss ups. Only real difference is Jackson, I am just not convinced by him in that role so we will see what he does in pre season. Hopefully he can do it

I think he is made for the wide forward role, personally. He works the chanels well and created a lot of chances from those positions last season and bagged a few goals as well. He's got a really good work ethic and can get up and down to help out a bit defensively and to use his pace from deep on the counter as well. No playing with his back to goal, which doesn't suit him.

It is his awareness off the ball that concerns me. He is a player that comes alive chasing the ball but in that wide link role you need to be involved even when we haven't got the ball. He should be thinking about areas to be in both in and out of possession and being in the game. When he then has it deeper, he needs to know when to run and when to hold. The younger players seem ahead of him in this regard, we have a crop of intelligent players coming through

For me I would start with the below:

Holy

KVY
Chambers
Woolf
Ward

Downes
Huws
Bishop

Jackson
Hawkins
Sears

Would look to bring on El Miz/Dobra in the second half at some point to start easing them into the team more. Possibly Lankester too depending on his fitness.

I'm not overly worried about that. The wide forward role he should be pushed up pretty high most of the time and looking to bridge the gap to the central striker. It's not like playing wide midfield in a 4-4-2. I think he's got the attributes to do well in that role, whoever plays out of Lankester or Dobra or even Sears on the other side will be the one to drop in a touch more and link play when needed. Think it's a stretch to say the young players have more footballing intelligence than him as well. Dobra has made one league appearance and got sent off. Lankester we've only seen a handful of times and he looks to have a lot of talent but hard to say much more than that.

Toss up between Dobra and Lankester for me, but given how long Lankester has been out I think starting from the bench seems sensible. Same with the call between Bishop and El Miz in the middle.

This!!!!

But you know the fraud we have as a manager will line up Edwards, Nolan and Judge as the 3. We will win 1-0 and get good game, lads played well, took the goal well, won’t make many changes now.
