Surprised 11:44 - Oct 4 with 1671 views | portmanroadblue | No one has mentioned the possible sending off of the MK goalscorer? Also, how poor the ref was, couple of times we had good tackles pulled up in good positions. Overall, felt a lot of town players were under par yesterday, Holy, woeful with crosses, Chambers seemed to bottle it against Harvie after the of the ball incident, midfield went missing, poor distribution on numerous occassions, no real urgency or movement from Edwards or Sears when we won the ball back unexpectantly and injuries to Ward and Downes didnt help. Only real standouts for me was Toto and Hawkins.

Surprised on 14:36 - Oct 4 by BrixtonBlue | My point was if it was worthy of a yellow it was worthy of a red, whatever it was. I didn't need to see it to reach that conclusion, and I've been proved right. What flavour of humble pie would you like? I've got better at cooking since lockdown. |
Your point is still wrong. A tug of the shirt is a yellow card, a trip is a yellow card, a kick is a red card. That applies whether it's on or off the ball. I'm not eating any humble pie because my point still stands that you can't call something an "obvious red" when you've not seen it and don't even know what happened.

As you well know, I admitted "obvious" was overstating it, but the fact you're still going with it shows you're on the ropes. "Ok, I used the wrong word with "obvious." Have a biscuit. How about, "very high chance"?" ...is what I said. Very high chance. And I was right. It must be eating you up to be pwned by old Dollers. Thank god we have Phil as a witness to prove that I called it right. So now we can get back to the real point - that this was another reason we had bad luck which massively affected the game. You denied it, now we know it was true. So let's recap; 1. Ward injured and the hapless Kenlock taking over. Massively affected the game. 2. Off the ball incident which should've reduced the opposition to 10 men AND would've removed the scorer of the equaliser. 3. Downes injured very shortly after coming on - not only losing us one of our fresh pair of legs, but it reduced US to 10 men for about half an hour. And you wonder why we didn't have many shots on target. Yesterday was a poor performance. One was always going to happen eventually. This one had several mitigating circumstances. AND we still managed to get a draw away from home and remain unbeaten.

Haha, the old Herbie 'doh' smiley comes out. This happens when you have no answer and is the equivalent of fingers in the ears going la la la. I've done you up like a kipper.

In your head you always win the internet Dollers. In reality you just wear people down until they can't be arsed anymore. Enjoy your afternoon now you've won the internet again.

Surprised on 14:08 - Oct 4 by Dubtractor | I think Phil was probably there, so not relying on the pretty poor camera work. It wasn't shown on camera. |
The camera work was a great improvement on what we have to suffer for our home games but it was a single camera generally panning to keep the ball and action central to the image. So understandable I think that they missed, the Three Counties Radio commentator only mentioned it briefly when it happened and then expanded on it when play was stopped. He did not particularly blame the referee and felt it had only been pulled up by the fourth official, who they think could only have seen it out of the corner of his eye. So a compromise decision to give Harvie a yellow, the officials did not catch sight of it but they knew what had happened by a process of induction from Chambers injury. They should have talked to Phil...

Surprised on 14:21 - Oct 4 by Herbivore | Kicking someone is a red card whether it's off the ball or not. You said it was a red without knowing what happened. That's just silly. If it's as Phil described then it's a red, but you've only just become aware of that information. |
Yep, violent conduct. | | | |

Surprised (n/t) on 14:03 - Oct 4 by Wickets | Yes my son who was also on the MK commentary said the same . |
Yes the mk commentary we’re definitely thinking a red was coming and he was very silly in doing that to chambers.
