No point having a target man if you haven't got a partner.


Every single league in England was won by a team playing one up front last season. If we can't make it work with a target man or with a runner, to me that would suggest the problem is mainly to do with how we get the other 9 outfield players connecting with the striker.

We clearly don't have the players who have the mobility for 90 minutes to give the type of support needed for he line striker role.

So imo we need to play to our strengths and that would be to utilise Hawkins and give him Jackson to work with.

How can you sign a player like Jackson have him in league 1 and not play to his strengths.

Well, we're screwed either way then, because 2 of Huws, Dozzell and Bishop in centre midfield isn't going to cut it.
