Striking options of McGoldrick, Brewster and McGurnie aren’t going to fire them to EPL safety. Although I appreciate they have spent millions on Brewster and McGurnie, that’s probably the going rate for a striker in this league, with Brewster it’s very much on potential. Also, Ramsdale isn’t anywhere near a like for like replacement for Henderson in the Blades’ goal, he’s proving a huge loss for them. Indeed, they were more than good enough last season. It is just, often more difficult to continue to do it in that second season.
McGoldrick won't score enough goals to keep a side up single-handedly but is definitely Premier League quality. I recall many saying they would never stay up in their first season. |  |
