Yeah, they looked great up until then. Hopefully, Lambert was watching. If we’re going to play Hawkins then getting the other two up to and beyond the big man is key. It was that interplay and movement that had the Serbian defence all over the place. But with the changes and perhaps the state of the game that meant we went into our shell to defend the lead and then hang on in extra time, suddenly the wide players were pinned back and McBurnie was isolated up front. That looked much more how we’ve played this season and it was pretty ineffectual. |  |
