I seem to remember commenting on a thread last week that I scored him 0/10 for his 1st season 1/10 for his 2nd season and 5/10 for this season

He apparently rates himself 7/10 this season. I wonder what he would score himself for the other 2

The problem you've got is Lmabert is rating the season as a whole to date.

Sitting 4th, we have a game in hand on the top side, we are unbeaten on our our turf in the league, we've been struck with injuries in the striker department. Averaging 2 points a game which will get you promoted come the end of the season. I think 7 is fair reflection right now (although could somewhat decrease in 8 games time).

You've also suggested Lambert rates himself a 7, when that simply isn't true, he has rated us as a whole a 7.

Screams of adding 2+2 together to get 5, to somewhat fit your outlook on Lambert.

The whole point is the overall is him. The performance the tactics the lot. That is his job and what he lives and dies (metaphorically) by

I think 5 is a fair assessment for this season based on the performances and the scaled results

Is it?

Seems a little bit of naive point of view to suggest the 'whole thing' is him.

Really? What else is there? The only chunk that isn't is budget but we have the biggest in the league and the whole league is working within constraints so it is irrelevant

Players are not robots, they aren't programmed.

Unfortuantely players make individual errors and mistakes that can cost games, poor desicion making in play that means the football isn't a success. Lambert can set his ideas out, but the players have to execute this.

Unfortunately the further you move down the pyramid indivdual errors and mistakes are more prevelant.

Sometimes, there is little a manager can do in certain circumstance when players cross the white line.

That's why it is Lambert rates Ipswich as 7/10, not 'himself'.

Don't be silly.

*Also note officiating can influence games, again nothing a manager really can there.

How bizarre

The manager signs the players and picks them it is his job to get that right. What else are you judging him on? The matchday atmosphere? The catering? He has had over 2 years to have the players right he has catastrophically failed every year

You are taking a very simplistic apporach to football here.

I don't know whether that is intentially or unintentially, I suspect the latter as it is probably just a lack of football knowledge.

Have nice evening Blubs, crack a beer or two.

There will be probably only 2 or 3 beers, i have doom bars or a brewdog selection pack. There will have however be a lot of red wine after

Let's hope I don't log on again this evening. I've already made Joe cry today and I quite liked him

Your original post asks for an overall assessment over the seasons. When others then reply with a figure that you disagree with you then ask for specific games to be rated. Why don't you just admit that your hatred of Lambert is what drives you on in this bizarre quest. One thing i do agree with you is, yes, he is a totally inept and sh1t manager who i didn't want from day one. Just like MM.

Now that I can agree on. Doom bar/Brewdog selection followed by red wine sounds a good plan.

What have you done to Joe, on which thread?

Plus we haven't even conceded a goal at home... and two of our 3 defeats have been due to reffing decisions, which could quite easily put us top.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

The way we played today wasn't really any different to how we were playing up until November
