The lack of transparency says it all really... 16:07 - Nov 30 with 577 viewswkj

Silence from the club today should serve as a reminder to all fans come ST renewal time (under normal world conditions) that they do nothing more but hijack our sentiment and affinity with the club as a soulless marketing ploy.

If Town were committed to be being invested in the community and "with us through thick and thin" they would have at least issued a statement today saying they are aware of the situation and are investigating internally.

However, today's head in the sand routine merely highlights to contempt that Evan and the team holds for us until it comes time for us to throw money at the club.

Disgusting PR, like the rest of the upper management it is all rotten to the core.

WHat were you expecting today genuinely? The club has done what it normally does on a Monday - a player interview and a couple of tweets.

They've 'clarified' henry situation

But if they aren't going to sack lambert then what do they have to say?

They says they acknowledge the situation and are investigating it. Quite simple really.

I was never expecting Lambert to be fired today, but they clearly have a strong reaction unfolding to a very poor decision and should have given a nod to that.

The problem is exactly what you said in your first line

Time to take aim at Evans - it's a simple as that, we need to associate him with the failure and drag his company through the mud so he either changes how he's running things or just clears off now. We can never go forward until he's gone.

In many ways, it kind of is. Damage limitation is a ubiquitous part of business, of which ITFC is. Although some would be unhappy with a simple nod to being aware, for myself and no doubt many people, acknowledgement would mean a lot.
