Do you just pull the plug on the DD and that's that?

Yes, but it will never happen. Too many of us are gullible and hopeful.

If you do cancel, make sure you tell the club why you did.

If you cancel, you won't get refunded.. I'm just holding on to get my refund and give to money to a worthwhile cause, otherwise I'd cancel it in a shot.

Yes - then email enquiries@itfc.co.uk and mainticketoffice@itfc.co.uk and say why.

I'm not sure about consumer law. We have paid for a product that we have not received. Surely they have to refund. Even the holiday companies have had to refund holidays to people that could go in holiday but who would of had to self isolate on return

What refund are you anticipating?

Yes.

I also informed the ticket office via email too, but right now I wouldn’t even bother with that part.

Cancelled now.

For the record, the email reads:

"This is just to inform you that I'll be cancelling my season ticket direct debit and redirecting my money to a local food bank in light of Paul Lambert's press interviews on Tuesday night, Lee O'Neill's recent press statement and Marcus Evans' statement released last night.

I decided to continue my season ticket this year and to forego last season's refund not because I anticipated actually getting what I paid for, but because I wanted to support the club through difficult times. But my desire to continue doing so has been destroyed by the last week of unprofessional nonsense: picking undignified fights with local media, banning Phil Ham, a loyal advocate for Ipswich Town since long before Evans and Lambert's involvement, the wildly condescending and goading tone of Evans' "I know best" public statement, the absolute refusal to take any responsibility for any of the club's failings over the last decade. Why it is that the club has decided to junk all its dignity in defence of a manager so undeserving of it is absolutely beyond me.

I can accept that we aren't always going to be good on the pitch, but I am absolutely not going to support an organisation that conducts itself like this with my money.

Best wishes,

J"

Fair play to you. There’s 9000 or so who renew automatically every year so I’ll be interested to see what percentage follow suit.
