Chip into the channels like it’s 1979. To be fair to Lambert that was our main out ball under Mick too. It used to drive me nuts back then.

He didn't have a proper commentator with him so he couldn't make any tactical points. There were many embarrassing silences.

I'll give you one point.. The combined age of our undroppable fullbacks is about 70 years. Opposition managers will target them in their preparation and today as far as I could tell from the commentary they were both found defensively wanting. Full backs are supposed to stop crosses going into the box.
