Do you think the club will go bust? 08:09 - Jan 24 with 802 viewsPippin1970

Evans is the sort of guy who potentially walk away. Then obviously no money with current climate coming into the club. You can't see a rich benefactor buying it. Especially with hardly any assets.

He would not walk away as it would ruin his reputation and hurt his other business.

I think he would. His public image is really poor now and he's not interested in paying public . No way he will pay up Lambert contract unless clause in their. We could easily be a Bury FC. Other clubs won't be far behind.

I'm not an expert, but not sure that it would be that easy to do so - ITFC is part of the Marcus Evans Group isn't it, so wouldn't MEG be liable for any debts of the football club anyway - meaning he couldn't just stop funding and let it go into receivership?

There's no evidence to suggest 'he's the type of guy to walk away'.

Him walking away from the club and causing the club to go bust would not look good for his reputation. Like someone said above the MEG is accountable for any debts. So him walking away with no buyer would simply cause his business to be hurt.

He’s been described in the press as the world’s biggest ticket tout, an arrest warrant was issued for him in Brazil.

How much lower can his reputation go?

That’s as close to the last bit of credibility I would give him, can’t see him walking away.

As I have mentioned before, we are in a bad marriage with no one really wanting to be the first to leave.
