Equally the fact that the Club publicly backed the manager last night means nothing. Evans will continue to back PL in public until such time as he pulls the trigger. He couldn’t say nothing as that would effectively endorse what the EADT were saying. I can understand that people are incredibly frustrated at Evans’s failure to remove the manager, but people really shouldn’t get too hung up on this statement. It’s posturing...nothing more.
