Agree about Jackson. He's hardly played this season, partly because he doesn't fit into Lambert's 4-3-3 system. Given we knew that in the summer, we should have taken the £1m+ on offer in the summer, which would have freed up funds & wages.
Edwards was given an extension by Lambert, which was fair enough & I think he's a decent player at this level.
Lambert did extend Nolan's contract & I think he's just an average 3rd tier player, but sadly that's where we are. |
I look at what Lincoln did in the Summer, in terms of rebuilding their squad without paying fees and I wonder what the hell we've spent the last 5 transfer windows doing. |  |

I think we have had too many senior players whom we couldn't get rid of, but we also have given extensions to ageing players like Chambers, Skuse, Wilson, Sears etc - presumably because Lambert needed some experienced players & felt they were better than Hurst's dud signings. |  |

We had too many senior players who we refused to get rid of and added more poor quality senior players because our manager and recruitment team are rubbish. | |
