My friend there says his joining ship has been cancelled because of all this. So he won’t be getting paid. He doesn’t know when. Maybe end of May.
The guy here due off in 2 weeks probably won’t get home and won’t know when he can get home.

No doubt. Authoritarianism is a global war of concentrated power/money vs the 99% and a large chunk of the 99% don't even realise they are in it, particularly the West where on the face of it things aren't "that" bad.
I find myself these days asking questions like how a global currency would change things, or UBI. Everything is linked. | |
