Was asked about his own personal situation.

Said he had to be respectful and not comment as there are managers still in charge. Also said he’s ready to get back to work.

He was questioned “are you looking for championship or above” and he said no, he wants to take a club as high as they can, to the premier league or back to the championship and this is the longest he’s been out of work.

Genuinely felt like it was an offer with open arms for someone to come and take him.

He spoke very well prior to this segment, explaining how he’d coached Reece James at Wigan before he broke through at Chelsea and was very articulate.

He isn’t going to be available for long, that’s for sure.

You know it. That's exactly what will happen.

This is a moment in our history where this would make things a whole lot better. And we will ignore it, continuing to leave that clown of a manager in charge of overseeing our steady decline into eternal misery.

I'm struggling with this today......

No thanks.

Cowleys or even that mentalist Pearson over him.

RIP Sir Bobby

That's the sort of rubbish Lambert comes out with.

Would be a pretty good compromise I suppose. Is he the right man?

Cook would be my personal preference.

Pearson not exactly the personality to build bridges with a disconnected fan base and for me the Cowley's still represent a risk given they've only had one job above league 2 level - only just surviving relegation from the league we aspire to be in with a much better squad than we'd have if we went up.

If we are going to get rid of Lambert, this is the week to do it as it's a rare free midweek.

We shouldn't even be talking about it this week, it should have been months ago
