Bournemouth sack Jason Tindall 08:13 - Feb 3 with 3080 viewsTractorCam

After losing 4 games in a row and dropping to 6th.

Quick acting from their owner.

Poll: An interesting day for our politicians, but which one is worse?

They should have sacked Howe during last season but failed to act, same as Town with Burley when in the Prem, and that resulted in relegation. Learning from their mistake last season and acting quickly now

Indeed, but maybe they felt given the job he had done there, he deserved the chance to see out the season.

Look at Southampton and how ruthless they were with Nigel Adkins. That has paid off hugely (Bar last night obvs)

I understand but there is no place in football for sentiment, it will only get you into trouble. You need people with a football mindset like Leicester did with Ranieri, won them the Prem the season before and if anyone deserve a chance you would think he would but no Leicester had the football knowledge in the club and sacked him, avoided relegation, and look at them now

Who knows what's going on but there's quick acting, and then there's just being ridiculous. The blokes been there 6 months, they're 6th in the league and in the FA Cup 5th round. At least let him at least have the rest of the season and see how it plays out.

you can tell a lot about a football manager in 6 months.

Swift decisive action like that of course requires ownership that cares. Hence why we are where we are.

I just don't see the point of Bournemouth at that level.
5 seasons in the Premier League and they still don't seem to have any ability to get more than 12k supporters.

Might be something to do with the capacity of the ground (officially 11,329).

His only other job as a manager was here at Weymouth. Awful. Got sacked.

Ridiculous?

Their owner demands best for his club whereas our fraud in Evans accepts failure and mediocrity and his pockets are the thing he cares about not ITFC.
