This is a bit rich....... 07:47 - Feb 16 with 1498 viewsHerbivore

........ coming from a government that has literally banned schools from teaching materials that could be deemed anti-capitalist and that has also banned materials from groups that promote “victim narratives that are harmful to British society”.

Essentially they don't want young people being taught about the BLM or XR movements but they do want the fringe right to be platformed at universities. The culture war rumbles on apace, perpetuated by the most incompetent and corrupt government we've ever had.

Damn this Tory government, damn anyone who voted for them, and damn anyone stupid or amoral enough to still support them.

For libertarians they're very good at taking away people's liberties. Be it freedom to travel and work across neighbouring countries, freedom to transport goods seamlessly between NI and the rest of the UK, freedom for heritage bodies to choose what exhibits to show, and now dictating to universities who they can or can't chose to host.

It's all very controlling and has a slight whiff of fascism about it.

Your average libertarian is only interested in reducing government interference in the activities of rich, straight, white men. they're bang i favour of it for anyone else.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
