He's not going to go.... Marcus knows the season is done. What is the point of him paying up and having to pay another manager for this dead end of a season.

He's not worried about ST's because too many will blindly renew. Maybe another 500-1000 will drop off, but that's not even £0.5 million so he'll live with it I guess.

Lambert will be here until end of season and they may go their separate ways in the summer.

Depressing but that's what our club is.

Unless the owner is completely sanguine about writing this season off, the way we've let this drag on for weeks is absolutely criminal, yes. You can't dither on these things and spend months with your manager on the precipice.
