This 'coppers surrounding a statue' thing. 14:08 - Mar 16 with 541 viewsBlueBadger

Surely in these straitened times the Met could have saved a lot of time, money and resources by simply telling those statues to dress less provocatively and only stand on plinths in daylight?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Statues of old colonial white men who have been dead for decades have more rights than women and/or protesters who dislike literal cronyism, racism and resigning all humanity to a slow climate death to satisfy corporate greed.

Get with the program you WOKE d1ckhead.

Surprised you're taking it at face value. There was quite a bit of outrage when the statue removed was something to do with the slave trade. The mere thought that they might be targetting Churchill was always going to press the right buttons.

Any pictures of them being surrounded or are they all close up?

I expect the thought is worrying for many a Gammon, hence why the Police went there and made a big thing of it.

Shame so many of our board centralists eat it up as they should really know better now, let alone those who don't want a factual version of British history.
