Dear people of England on 21:58 - Mar 28 by Darth_Koont | But absolutely nothing compared to the emptiness of those who would have never offered anything to anyone ever. Is it a good policy or not? You’ve complained that it’s too expensive and now about the timing. This is why the Unionist parties have lost their way. Always playing politics at someone else’s cost. |
I haven't claimed it's too expensive. I've claimed that it's very easy to give free tuition, free laptops and 4% pay rises when it's being paid by somebody else. Anyone would think there is an election taking place.

Of course there’s an election taking place. After all, here you are being disingenuous.

And this, my friend, is your annual reminder that the SNP chose Thatcher over Callaghan. Goodnight.

He’s in his late 50s isn’t he. It’s a really fcking odd way to conduct yourself. What do you make of Salmond’s move?

Ego. And probably because of that can’t really accept his political legacy will be forever tarnished by his actual choices and behaviour. So can’t stop himself from having a last stab whatever the damage caused or how relevant it is so long as he’s at the centre. Same for Salmond, really.

Ha ha. Well played. I agree. I was surprised though, didn’t see it coming, thought he’d melt away, but I guess it’s in the characteristics required for that sort of role. Bit like Farage. I’m referring to Salmond, just for clarity.

Bless. I’ll take trying to establish the truth of a situation and what is fair over trading on spurious accusations for petty political reasons. You do you. Literally.

No problem with the policy. But schools have been shut for the best part of a year. Why wait until two days into an election campaign? I tend to believe a Jim Murphy, former Labour leader in Scotland. It’s a cynical election bribe. The Tories do it with tax cuts and such like. [Post edited 28 Mar 2021 22:49]

Hehe. No idea what went on with Salmond but he strikes me as if the power – and losing it – really affected him. And you’re right, just like Farage, once you have that taste then you’re always looking for the next hit.
