and he’s an experienced manager and has a track record of getting more thing right than not. He will also have a pretty good idea of who he wants to sign so knows what he wants in his squad.

I’m happy to give him the benefit of the doubt, even though I can’t quite get keeping Drinan.

Edit - Oh, and after his comments about Nydam I’m really surprised to see him go.

Drinan is very simple IF he is being loaned out.

Truly impaired.

the only one i outright disagree with is nydam, rest make sense (drinan is questionable though!)

I wouldn’t have kept Drinan. Will be 3rd choice I’d imagine.

Paul Cook sees these people everyday, has been in the game for a very long time, has been a success on many occasions, in terms of footballing knowledge, he is more clued up than all of us on here put together.

I trust what he does.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

Cooks previous comments make me think this might have been partially Nydam's choice in that we were interested in taking the option but couldn't offer him the role he wants.

Poll: Hurst or Ross, discounting any other candidates?
