We'll be very fortunate if we can get a few of those five over the line. Matt Crooks, Bersant Celina and Lewis Gibson have been heavily linked the last week or two. Hayden Coulson and Chey Dunkley are loose links but hopefully have legs.
The squad still needs work, and if the four on the right of the post are too leave, then we will probably need 7-8 players before August 7th. Onwards and upwards tho, starting to look really strong. |  |

Didn't include Jacobs just purely based on the fact Cowley sort of turned it down at this very moment. As much as Paul Warne said similar about Crooks, his own comment about 'everyone having a price' and Phil's confidence keeps him in. Jacobs looks to be staying with Pompey for now, expect it to be revisited later on in the month however. Probably the 'another winger' part of my tweet. | |

Yep, Harper was signed to be the box-to-box midfielder, like Flynn was supposed to be last season. In reference to the previous persons point, Idris has been put behind Harper for aesthetic reasons alone. Expect him to be used further forward, but I needed two players per position rather than 3 | |
