How many of those complaining were saddened by the collapse of Bury FC? Colchester are trying to survive a very difficult time for smaller clubs.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

Away end sold out for tonight.... on 15:45 - Jul 27 by itfcjoe

£18 is a rip off for a friendly between a League 2 team and a League 1 team, whatever the reasons behind it and I don't think blaming financial positions of the teams is valid, it is about the here and now of statuses.

Money isn't that much of an issue, I could afford it if I thought it was a fair price and the stadium experience was worthwhile, but it simply isn't.

For what it's worth I don't think £18 is good value, nor did I think £25 was good value for the Spurs match (hence why I'll watch via a stream rather than attend) but I can totally understand why the prices were set that high and the attendances (primarily of away fans) seems to suggest it's not made a material impact

And the contrasting finances of both teams isn't relevant to price set, nor should it be, my point was around the contradictory attitude of some of your fanbase who are celebrating the Americans spending big on new players whilst bemoaning the owner of another club for trying to generate sufficient income (partly through friendlies) to pay for a modest League 2 squad
